Joshua Bandoch, Ph.D., Founder 

Josh brings an unusual mix of research and practical expertise to help you unleash your persuasive potential.  

As a Research Fellow at a premier national think tank, he spends his days writing on and researching how to be more persuasive. He honed his research skills while earning a Ph.D. in Political Science at the University of Notre Dame, and as a postdoctoral fellow at Brown University and the University of Wisconsin-Madison. He knows and stays up to date on the best persuasion research.  

He has spent years actually persuading people as a speechwriter. He has written hundreds of speeches for service and cabinet secretaries, as well as numerous senior government leaders. He has helped them craft persuasive messaging on a wide range of subjects to an array of audiences of all sizes. 

As a strategic communications consultant at Booz Allen Hamilton, Josh also advised clients on a wide range of other persuasion topics, including performance metrics, audience analysis, and storytelling. 

He has delivered persuasion workshops to a wide range of groups, including think tanks and non-profits. And he has presented his research at national and international conferences. His work has been published by a university press and in numerous peer-reviewed venues.
